Flight Cancellations by Passengers
Voluntary Cancellation: Passengers may cancel their booking, but cancellation
fees may apply, depending on the fare class and timing of the cancellation.
Refundable Tickets: Eligible for partial or full refunds based on the fare
conditions at the time of purchase.
Non-Refundable Tickets: Usually not eligible for a refund; however, taxes and

Flight Cancellations by Malaysia Airlines
If the airline cancels your flight, you are entitled to:
• A full refund of the ticket value, or
• A free rebooking on the next available Malaysia Airlines flight.
In certain cases, the airline may also provide compensation for essential
expenses (e.g., meals or hotel accommodation), depending on the nature of the
disruption.

Processing Time: Refunds may take several days to a few weeks, depending on the
