Sydney Airport is located at a distance of 9 km from city center. You can reach the Airport via train, taxi and bus services which run at regular basis especially to / from the Airport.

Train Services (Airport Link)

Airport Link offers a fast and convenient way to reach the city and suburbs, with trains running approximately every 10 minutes. The station is located at the northern end of the terminal and accessible from the Arrivals Level. To use this service, you can either purchase an Opal Card from the station, Relay or WH Smith, or tap on with your Amex, Visa or Mastercard.

As a general indication, fares for adults range from $19.48 to $21.80, depending on time slots (Peak / Off Peak).

Bus Services

Sydney Buses operates a timetabled service, Route 400, between Bondi Junction and Eastgardens via Sydney Airport and 420 between Eastgardens to Burwood via Sydney Airport. The service stops at both the T1 International and T3 Domestic terminals. You will find clearly marked bus stops located on the arrivals level outside each of these terminals. You'll need an Opal transport card to use the service.

Taxi Services

Taxi services are available at Sydney Airport 24 hours daily. It’s roughly a short, 20 minute ride to get to Sydney’s city centre and and will cost about $45-$55 one way. Taxi ranks are located at the front of all terminals, simply follow the signs to the nearest taxi ranks.

A $4.50 airport toll is payable by all passengers taking a taxi from any of Sydney Airport’s taxi ranks.

Limousine Services

Limousine services can be pre-arranged to and from airport terminals. If you have not pre-booked, Royale Limousines reservation counter is located inside the Arrivals area of T1 International. You should be aware that it's against the law for drivers or their agents to approach you or to solicit a fare from you.

Ride Sharing

Dedicated Uber/rideshare pick-up bays are located within easy walking distance of each terminal at Sydney Airport. Simply follow the directions given in the app and terminal signage to the nearest rideshare pick-up bay. For the domestic terminal, this is the Priority Pick-up Zone. For the international terminal, this is the Express Pick-up zone.

Simply order your ride share using your preferred app and follow the signs to the designated Ride Booking areas to meet with your driver.
