Executive Club

British Airways offers a loyalty program called The British Airways Club, formerly known as the Executive Club. This program rewards frequent flyers with benefits and exclusive privileges.

Earning Avios and Tier Points

Members earn Avios, the program's reward currency, by flying with British Airways or its Oneworld partners, booking British Airways Holidays, and through everyday activities like hotel stays, car rentals, and shopping with partner retailers.

Additionally, Tier Points are earned based on spending: members receive 1 Tier Point for every £1 spent on eligible British Airways purchases, including base fares and carrier-imposed surcharges, excluding taxes and fees.

Membership Tiers

The program has four tiers:

Blue: Entry-level membership with access to Avios collection and redemption.

Bronze: Achieved with 3,500 Tier Points; offers benefits like priority check-in and boarding.

Silver: Requires 7,500 Tier Points; includes lounge access and additional baggage allowance.

Gold: Attained with 20,000 Tier Points; provides first-class lounge access and highest priority services.

Redeeming Avios

Avios can be redeemed for reward flights, cabin upgrades, hotel stays, car rentals, and more. Members can also use Avios to reduce the cash cost of flights through the "Part Pay with Avios" option.
