Checked Baggage

For most international flights departing from Australia:

Economy Class

Saver & Classic fares: 30 kg

Flexi fares: 35 kg

No piece limit; total weight matters.

Business Class

All fare types: 40 kg

Generous allowance with no piece restriction (except to/from the Americas).

First Class

Up to 50 kg checked baggage allowance.

For routes to/from the Americas, a piece concept applies:

Economy: 2 pieces up to 23 kg each

Business/First: 2 pieces up to 32 kg each

Hand Baggage (Carry-on)

Economy Class: 1 piece up to 7 kg

Business & First Class: Up to 2 pieces totaling 15 kg

Duty-free shopping and small personal items like a handbag or laptop are also permitted.

Infant Baggage

Infants (not occupying a seat) are allowed 10 kg of checked baggage, plus a foldable stroller or car seat.

Excess Baggage
