Qatar Airways is the state-owned national airline of Qatar, operating under the full name Qatar Airways Company Q.C.S.C. Headquartered in the Qatar Airways Tower in Doha, the airline operates a hub-and-spoke network from its main base at Hamad International Airport (DOH).

As of May 2025, Qatar Airways serves more than 140 international destinations worldwide including Australia with a fleet of over 200 modern aircraft. The airline operates more than 1,200 flights weekly, offering connections across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Oceania.

Qatar Airways has been a proud member of the Oneworld alliance since October 2013, becoming the first major Gulf carrier to join one of the global airline alliances. Membership enhances global connectivity for passengers through seamless codeshares and shared benefits across partner airlines.
