If you’ve lost an item while flying with Qatar Airways from Australia,
assistance is available through both the airline and the airport's Lost & Found
departments.
At the Airport
For items lost at the terminal, such as at security screening, boarding gates,
lounges, or airport restrooms, passengers should contact the Lost Property
Office of the specific airport:

Include full details: item description, date/time of loss, flight number, and
your contact information.
Onboard Qatar Airways
For items left on the aircraft, such as in the seatback pocket or overhead bin:
Contact Qatar Airways’ baggage service office at the arrival airport or reach
out through the Qatar Airways website.
Alternatively, call their local office in Australia: +61 2 8320 1015 (Sydney).
Be ready to provide:
• Flight number and travel date
• Seat number (if known)
• Detailed description of the lost item
Baggage Irregularities
If checked baggage is delayed or missing, report it immediately at the Qatar
Airways baggage counter before leaving the airport. You’ll receive a Property
Irregularity Report (PIR) and tracking reference.
It’s recommended to act quickly and contact the airline or airport Lost & Found
as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of recovering your belongings.
